Bethany Seventh-Day Adventist Church is pleased to announce and
welcome new pastor Sherwin Jack and his
family.
Pastor Jack has
over 24 years of wide-ranging and in-depth experience in
the pastoral field. He motivates and
encourages positive attitudes among his congregation and
the community and provides for their spiritual
needs.
After receiving
his Bachelor of Arts in 1981 from
Oakwood College in
Huntsville, Al. and his Master of
Divinity in 1987 from Andrews University Theological
Seminary, Pastor Jack continued his studies by receiving
Pastoral Counseling Post Graduate certification at
Onondaga Pastoral Counseling Center,
Colgate Rochester Divinity School in
New
York, and
Hebrew Union College in
New
York,
New
York.
Pastor Jack
hails from Ephesus SDA Church in
New York
City where he was Senior Pastor
for seven years.
His many
accomplishments cannot all be listed here, but among
many others, he:

Planted a new church among
the minority population in
Spokane, Washington

Served on the NEC Executive
Committee two terms
·
Member of the Atlantic Union
College Board one
term
·
Member of the North American
Division Ministerial
Advisory
·
Board Member of the Harlem
Children’s Zone
·
Board Chair –
Northeastern Academy one
term
·
Chaired the Marriage and
Divorce Committee, the Evangelism Committee, and the
Ordination Committee of the
Northeastern Conference.
Pastor Jack would like to
